Our programs directly impact the use of firearms by providing concrete tools to improve gun safety.

Pediatricians Program - MGSCF provides free cable locks and informational materials to healthcare providers to be distributed to households with children, to make sure that all firearms can be stored securely and kept out of the hands of unauthorized users.
Gun Give Back Day - We partner with police departments across the state and the nonprofit organization Humanium Metal to host Gun Give Back events, allowing anyone to easily turn over unwanted firearms to be safely disposed of.
Free Cable Lock Program - MGSCF has distributed over 25,000 free cable locks to police departments, sheriffs’ offices, social services agencies, medical facilities, and other organizations.
The Maine Gun Safety Coalition Foundation is a 501.c.3 charitable organization.
